Product Description
Luwak coffee (or kopi luwak in Indonesian) is the rarest gourmet coffee in the world that originates from Indonesia. It is made of the sweetest coffee beans that have gone through a civet's digestive tract. Our coffee beans are from civets that are wild and free to roam around in the wilderness. They feed from coffee trees that naturally grow in the area. This Bali Kintamani luwak coffee comes from the Kintamani highlands, which is the northern mountainous region of Bali, Indonesia. These highlands sit on a large volcanic plateau where pesticides are prohibited and local farmers use only organic fertilizers. This exotic island produces only a small amount of coffee beans. They are grown at around 1,300-1,700 meters (4,200-5,500 feet) above sea level. Only the best coffee beans are grown at such high altitudes. Bali Kintamani luwak coffee has a light to medium body with light acidity. Its taste is smooth and has distinct raspberry, brandy, mint, chocolate and cedar-like flavors.Product Details

This coffee exceeds my expectations! It's also awesome to know that the beans come from wild civet coffee plantations where pesticides are prohibited and local farmers only use organic fertilizers. It tastes very smooth and has light acidity. Although there are a lot of negative reviews from PETA supporters here, I read the description of the coffee first before I bought it and it says (this seller) Luwak Star gets their coffee from plantations that let the civets run wild. Civets are known to have very good sense of smell. They climb the coffee trees to pick the best, ripest, sweetest, reddest coffee cherries to eat. This animal can definitely pick the best coffee cherries because these beans sure taste great!

I did not know that there is different types of kopi luwak coffee and they all taste great. I brought some of this up to work for my co workers to try. I did not tell them what it is but they all asked me what type of coffee it was. The taste was amazing and the coffee is extremely smooth compared to their gas station coffee that they normally get. And now they want me to bring some in every day! talk about spoiled! This coffee isnt just great to drink but it can also be a great conversation starter as well. Im just glad my work only has 6 people!

Fast shipping, great product! I was optimistic at first but, wow this is the best and most mellow coffee I've ever tasted. Can't describe it but, once you taste this coffee you'll be hooked. You have been warned. All jokes aside, tasting this coffee should be on everybody's bucket list.
